The 2009 series of District Conventions has been completed on the island of Hispaniola.
A total of 12 conventions were held in Haitian Creole here in Haiti. One was also held in the capital of the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo.

We attended our fourth and most likely final convention this year in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. This is the convention that my Mom was assigned to attend. Despite the almost two hour drive to and from the convention site each day, we had an enjoyable weekend.

Two days after our convention in Haiti, Marie and I were on the Air Canada flight for Montreal, to be able to visit with our families and attend the district conventions with them too.

On July 10-12, 2009 we attended the first in a series of 12 District Conventions that will be held in Haiti.

On June 4-7, 2009, Marie and I had the privilege to attend the first in the series of International Convention held in San Diego, California as delegates from Haiti.

On Sunday May 10, 2009, we had the dedication program for our Kingdom Hall that serves the three congregations of Bas-Santo, Dépio and Shada. What a joyous event it was!

Today, our congregation met up again with the friends from the congregation of Cabaret to preach in the rural town of Cazale.
